Welcome to 3rd grade at Compass! My name is Samantha Brant, and I’ve been a teacher in Platte County since 2011.
I am a graduate of Topeka West High School (2007) in Topeka, KS and William Jewell College (2011) in Liberty, MO. I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2015 with a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am the oldest of three with a brother, John, and a sister, Alexandria, and I have a Miniature Dachshund named Madilynn.
I love traveling, attending live performances, and playing music! I play percussion and piano. I'm part of the Northland Symphony Orchestra, and I accompany soloists from the PCHS band for spring solo contest.
Fun Fact: My favorite subject to teach is math, and I love going to math conferences (super nerd!).
