Hi! My name is Colleen Nichols and I am a school counselor serving both Siegrist Elementary and Compass Elementary. I have been in education for over 20 years. I earned my BA in Psychology and Business Administration from William Jewell College, a MA in Counseling from UMKC and an Educational Specialist degree from Northwest Missouri State University.

As a school counselor, my goal is to teach all students the skills they need for academic success, career awareness, and social/emotional development. I am dedicated to supporting my students and their families throughout the elementary school experience.

When I am not at school, my husband and I have 3 kids who keep us busy with their numerous sports and activities. I am so happy to be a Pirate and I look forward to getting to know my students and their familes!
