Hello! I am the Special Services Resource Teacher working with most Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders at Compass Elementary. I began my career as a Learning Specialist in 2001, became a Platte County Pirate in 2012, and moved to Compass Elementary when it opened in 2016.

My husband Tom, daughter Vivian, and I live in Platte County. Vivian attended Compass and currently is in middle school. She and our dogs Bolt and Fox keep the house lively at all times. My husband and I moved to Platte County from Columbia, MO and we have truly enjoyed living in the Kansas City area. We keep discovering more and more wonderful reasons to stay here. Outside of school, you will most likely catch me hanging out with my family, reading, gardening, crafting, or hiking - the things I can't get enough of.
