Hi, my name is Rachel Mittendorf. This is my fourth year at Compass Elementary. Prior to becoming a Pirate, I taught third grade in the Savannah School District for three years. I graduated with my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Truman State University in Psychology and Elementary Education. I just had a baby boy in March and his name is Beckham. He takes up most of my time now but I also enjoy spending time with my husband, Zach and playing with my Goldendoodles, Slugger and Yadi. I love having coffee with friends, reading, and watching sports as well.
